After you’ve played
a miniature
golf course
there’s no place
to go but up
Even bowling alley
back room banquet
spaces
the sound of the pins
scattering
the click of the ball
returns
begin to sound
almost like
music
Like the dusty
stage of an HO
train display
meeting hall
or the theater for
all those plastic
people
