i swallow the organs / and spit up hummingbirds i hum a bluefeather / and kill a gardeni grow a testament / and excise a lie the trees hang in torment / under blueskynever are the pains throated / with joy inside the singing i try / to remember easethe body which carries aches / and protects i am not the shells / nor the broken bulbsi remember that god is a light / inside grief smashed glass and ants / glint and bitea humming in the torment / a torrent of promises joy a singing in ash / a costume for nausealittle wings spit music / as a consolation when i watch the living / i remember to breathenot much separates the maggot / from the fly when i consume the eucharist / blue bottles singand the dead wings inside me / flutter
