Loose threads hang from every line embroidered
across its every inner and outer surface,
above and below the fascia, inside arteries,
on surfaces, between veins and muscle, over
valves—words threaded, stitches & knots, letters, sentences
threads trailing, needles always sliding inout, precise
and exquisite, over-writing every story I gather in.
