Vapour

In need of light she
opened the blinds

to crow sky inhale dew
found mirror and wonder.

In need of air across sea
unfurled sail to find no wind

he caught reflection stood thinking,
boiling water,

their steam attempting collusion
becoming rain.

Pain and pleasure,
the elements of memory.
