At the River of my Dream
We’re still teenagers
our bodies lean and fierce
all cells switched on
and the answer is always yes,
yes here, yes now
and in my heart
there is a loop of energy
surging and in my brain
everything is amplified
and we’re still mining the night sky
bound together by gravity
our bodies cluster and burn.
