The falcon

There are some things
that may be best left raw
ready yet unfinished.
Fury can be vindictive
and it can also be divine
don’t let it seep or stew.
Let it roam, let it run
don’t let the blood clot
reduce it and rebrand it.
Cut out the middleman
feel each emotion fall, fall,
fall in place, motionless it lays.
The falcon flies high, weaving
in and out of pockets of warm air
eyeing what’s raw, ready, unfinished.
