Involution

Fingers dance down my sides,
raising goosebumps like
crops after a winter storm.
Your lips ghost across my cheek,
teeth grazing my neck like a
panther to its prey.
I’m made weak, vulnerable
in a most magnificent way.
Your dominance a downfall,
losing yourself in me as
I possess myself in you.
Souls dancing, shifting,
the power play of a divine
kingdom in which I am a
Goddess and you are nothing
but a congregant, a devotee at
the foot of my throne.
